WGEP Joins Michelle Obama’s Girls Opportunity Alliance

To celebrate International Day of the Girl Child on October 11, 2018, Women’s Global Education Project founder and executive director Amy Maglio traveled to NYC to join stakeholders from around the globe as former first lady and champion for girls’ education, Michelle Obama, kicked off the Girls Opportunity Alliance, a new Obama Foundation initiative.

WGEP and Michelle Obama agree that an educated girl can lift up her family, her community, and her country. We are proud to partner with the Obama Foundation to further this important work!
