Through access to books and implementing reading activities both in and out of school, Our Sisters Read helps create a lifelong love of reading.

for both young students and also the entire community
Create mobile libraries
that bring books, solar lanterns and tablets to remote villages
Develop reading activities
that are fun, engaging, and adaptable by grade level
Teacher training
in reading activities and library practices to build local capacity
Adult literacy classes
to bridge the home-school gap and better women's own situations
Community meetings
to foster grassroots support for literacy
