On Monday, May 9, 2022, our community met at Salvage One for Women's Global Education Project's annual Ndajee celebration, a benefit to support girls' education in rural Senegal & Kenya. Ndajee (en-DAH-jee) means "get together" in Wolof, and we were so thrilled to finally get together in-person, after 2+ years of virtual-only events.
Celebrating Mother's Day and support girls' education!
Hosted by longtime advocate Jerome McDonnell
Honored Lucy Ascoli, our 2022 Impact Award winner
Featured interviews with girls and mothers in our programs across Senegal & Kenya
Special African drum and dance performance by Najwa Dance Corps
Together, we raised over $200,000 to expand our impact and ensure that the most hard-to-reach girls receive the resources they need to get an education and be equipped with the confidence to make their own healthy life decisions.
