"There
is no tool for development more effective than the education of girls.
No other policy is as likely to raise economic productivity, lower
infant and maternal mortality, improve nutrition, and promote health. "
--former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan

Give the gift that MULTIPLIES!
This holiday season, please consider giving the gift that truly keeps on giving: the gift of education.
Educating girls in developing nations has a multiplier effect that expands the benefits of education not just for each girl, but for her family, community and region.
Girls who receive an education find more sustainable
livelihoods, are less likely to develop serious illnesses like malaria
and HIV/AIDS, can better protect themselves from violence, abuse and
trafficking, are more likely to have fewer
children, healthier pregnancies, and more live, healthy births, can
better access resources for nutrition and sanitation for their
families, are more likely to educate their own children,
and are more active in their communities. An education gives girls and
their families the tools to improve all aspects of their lives and to
build their own future, which, in turn, strengthens our global
community as a whole. Education: truly the gift that multiplies!
Your
support of Women’s Global Education Project goes a long way in making a
life-changing education possible for the most vulnerable members of our
global community. Please
consider giving this holiday season, either by mailing your check along with this form or via our secure online donations page.
Thank you, and Happy Holidays from everyone at Women’s Global!
